Solicitor referral page – Solent Family Mediation
If you are a busy solicitor, or referrals agency, the process of submitting referrals can be very time consuming. We are happy to receive our online referrals form from you directly through e-mail or by fax or post. You can also complete this form online or call us so that we can take details of your referral. In addition, we can also supply CW5 forms that can provide the service called ‘Help with Mediation’ if a legal aid franchise is held by the solicitor. Furthermore, FM1 forms are also available from us.As soon as you supply us with a referral we will quickly reply with an acknowledgement. Within the next day or two we will contact the clients to see if they would be willing to attend a meeting to gather information and make an assessment. After advising you on whether the meeting has gone ahead, we will then let you know if the case is progressing to mediation. After gaining the client’s permission we will let you know how the mediation is proceeding.Where there are sensitive, or confidential issues involving the client (particularly where children, property or finance are concerned) we will encourage the client to take legal advice and aid. With particularly sensitive cases that involve children we can also provide counselling and other mediation services. We also provide additional consultation and advocacy services, should they be required. In any case, if legal aid is required, we can provide a CW5 form so that this may be taken forward. Sometimes, the client may require a legally binding order, and this is another service which we are happy to advise on.Throughout the process we provide a professional and accessible service and we will be happy to discuss your exacting requirements with you. If you require a personal visit, we would be more than happy to accommodate you. We work closely with solicitors, and other referral agencies, so have access to a range of legal, and other, services.Click on one of the links below to download a referral form.
